Inside the hut, blankets have been spread across the bare ground and a meager pile of torn, dirty clothes rests carefully on top of the blankets. The place is devoid of all furniture, and it doesn't appear as though there is any food anywhere. Given the fact that this is a farming community, one would expect at least a larder full of food.
