But naw, cause i'm saying something: now 1: Why the fuck was i hardbanned, i dunno, i get my reason told to me and that was ' Now hardbanned ' someone's been buttfucked to the point of no return, the cock's so far up his ass it's addled his brain. But who cares YES i only logged on to fuck around, if for nothing else t2t has become a haven for misfits as mentioned earlier, social interaction with trash like that's fucking golden when it comes to curing boredom. Is that why they hardbanned me, who the fuck knows, and who the fuck cares. Do i sound bitter, not at all, i can afford shit that comes with pictures, keep on stocking the trailor trash that can't, all my friends left a long time ago. The ones left who thought they were friends of mine. Suck my cock. there. thanks, unloaded and fully satisfied.

Well Manni, I don't keep checking bugs on a daily basis. I didn't know there was a change at all. I thought he wanted to lock us and we gave him what he wanted but we got something else:P Truly, we put ourselves in this situation.

For maybe a week now the jailor has said dont fight in here, so it should have been clear that there was a change. It's your fault for attacking before you knew what that change was. I don't know if Kilik knew what the change was or not, but if he had told any of us, we would've told him to hold off on using it until we could get someone at the town square to rough people up.

I had entered this room before as well. When you enter, the jailor says no fighting, so I'm sure he though it was unattackable, like the courthouse itself.

Or as I personally view it, they knew that the issue was apparently 'fixed'. They did not know what this 'fix' was. Attacking him there would of been as logical as attacking anywhere else in linhir since the issue of locking had been resolved. They expected him to move since there was no fear of a lock.

  • Author

No, I'm not saying it would be Kilik this time that had performed the 'abuse' it would be the party that attacked him in there thinking they were going to lock him up and kill him.

If the changes would not have been made (announced or not) and they did that. Everyone would be saying 'Gud Log!' rather than 'nuke the bastards! they are cheaters!'.

Repeating my OT comment from the log below so it's referenced correctly in the proper thread here :)

Hahaha, he chose to abuse the bug by being in a room. If I had to guess (and I do because I didn't talk to him), he probably saw the say from the jailor that says 'You better not do any fighting in here or else' and thought the room became unattackable. Trust me, if we knew what the room did, we'd have one or two people camoed nearby to kill you when you were unconscious. You know that.

I resent that in all tidbit logs I am portrayed as some sort of ranting lunatic whose incoherence is only outweighed by his vulgarity. All my quotes are taken out of context and I don't feel they truly reflect my character, or even my funnier moments. Most of the time an out of character remark is taken out of context and it makes me appear like a juvenile and illiterate teenager with a stuck on caps lock. I would like to think I am capable of much more if given the chance, and resent being paraded in public like a half-wit clown with missing teeth.

Wait... when they tried to kill him in there, wouldn't that have been bug abuse on their part? I mean, they thought it would lock him in there for a cheap/easy kill right?

They obviously didn't know it had been changed, or this log wouldn't have went up. I love the double standards, really.

Well, he didn't do anything wrong. He knew something in the game that you didn't and tried to use it to his advantage. He just failed miserably:P

He may have assumed that you guys were going to attack him or he may have known you were in Linhir and thought it would be a good place to hide (not likely, courthouse is right there).

But that he anticipated that you would attack didn't mean you had to do it. So yeah, totally innocent here!

Exhalev was nuked at 20:04 03/12/08

Exhalev the dunlending Dark Sorcerer (Aphotic)

    Departed from Arda Gender: male

    Age: 10d 2h 55m 26s

Exhalev is a servant of the Dark Lord.

Info: I shall return, a cold winter's night.

    Nuke Reason: troublemaking

    Now Orcoron:

    How 'innocent' was Kilik.

    a) His guildmate Exhalev almost got nuked for using this room.

    b) Afterwards his friends Panayoti and co (maybe RL friends) were about to get in trouble for the same room that they used as a lockup.

NOTE: In both previous cases, the durms (Kilik's side) had overwhelming firepower and used it as a lock.

So we get some finds and he is at the Linhir permit place, we rush from Thranduils without permits and wait for him to go out of Linhir. He doesn't so we go in without permits and attack on sight. We don't mind being locked since that's what we want if he wants it.

    c) Kilik stands in this room, inviting an attack. Obviously he w a n t e d to get attacked. If he didn't want to get attacked, he could've rented an innroom in Pelargir or he could've stood one east of the said room.

We don't mind the durms bringing more firepower than one Kilik so we attack the scumbag. And surprise! No backup comes for Kilik but most of us get their HP set to 1.

    What does this mean:

    1. Kilik knew perfectly well how this room was changed and used it in a good attempt to kill us.

1 1/2. The disputed bug abuse was not people going to that room to attack others but rather, people leading others into this room and then attacking them.

    2. Kilik can't be blamed. We did it to ourselves but we couldn't suppose that this room got changed thisway, so I don't feel bad for falling for it:P Luckily he died too.

Its pretty damned cool though, like Orcoron has been saying you can't 'accidently' die here, or drag anyone there - so only the people who know about it will use it. Personaly I would of just made it unattackable or created a second exit, but this seems a lot more fun.

People can't be dragged in there during combat Pounder. You have to go into the room out of combat and attack the person there. In this case the person initiating combat is the one that gets the sharp end of the stick. It's just not open to abuse. The best you could do is perhaps stand two rooms east of it and trigger to do 2w as soon as you see someone begin a backstab alias, even then I'm not sure it would fire fast enough to work.

Yeah they could have just added another exit, but this works too and it's kinda fun.

They definitely need to add an update and perhaps a line in the room desc that hints at the danger of combat in there.

If they wanted to fix this issue, all they needed to do was put in an extra exit (like passageway), that leads to the entrance room of linhir. Instead, they create a room that can now be used by ONE person to hide in and get a large group killed without risk to anyone but himself/herself. This is not a fix, this is adding something that cannot be avoided via strategy or skill and shouldn't be added into a area that is not normally very dangerous (unlike something like BDT or MM).

  • Author
    Orcoron [legacy]
    At
    12 March 2008 23:55:12

Well, no. You knew he was there and based on what you knew, that he would be locked in there if you went and attacked. He was just standing there, you were the ones initiating combat. You can't say he used it. He may have stood there like a worm on a hook but you're the ones that chose to bite.

It's also in no way a bug because the room has now been specifically coded to do that.

  • Author
    Tlaloc [legacy]

    12 March 2008 23:43:43

Kilik was the one who used it, not we. It was smart of him but this bug got somehow bug-upgraded. It used to be an unlockable lock, now it's an insta-kill room. Cute?

  • Author
    Orcoron [legacy]

Nah it's not messed up. Now that people know anyone that uses it only has themself to blame when they die. However an update is needed, can't assume that everyone uses the logs page. There are a few places that have things like this in it. MM for example.
