This site is looking pretty dead, so here's a new place to comment about whatever. And no, I won't tell you how I did it.
Shelob shrieks in pain as you pierce her thick hide. Ooze drips
from her wounds and she begins a high-pitched keening which shatters
your senses. Shelob begins to flail about, making you dash for
safety. Suddenly with a hideous spiteful cackle she rushes at you!
This time she doesn't stop to fight but flings you aside and you
hear a skittering and scraping as she flees. She disappears from
sight, but a terrible high pitched scream issues from someplace
deep in her lair.
Her cries fade...
...echo for a moment...
...and then all is quiet.
