About the 2 cases of people getting in trouble on mud for saying things here.. If it has happened twice without us giving them precedent, god knows how many times it would happen with our acceptance.

Before I say anything, I understand Vermond's reasoning and sympathize. I do not agree with his conclusions, but I understand the method by which he came by them, and do not fault his reasoning.
The notable distinction between Hazin and other notorious rulebreakers (or people accused of breaking rules/repeat nukes/sitebans such as Exide, Aryl, Daywalker, Winnetou, Mute, Dighi, etc) is that one _major_ rules infraction which he committed and was never punished on the MUD for (as he had suicided already) was a rules violation which he could _very_ easily repeat here. His information is no longer necessarily current, but if he retains any friends in the game who can update him, he is capable and has shown he is willing to harm the community in any way at his disposal.
He has on several occasions indicated that he no longer wants to be a member of this community, which I think _in combination_ with the fact that he committed a siteban-able (or at _least_ nukeworthy) offense which can be easily replicated here without any method of recourse in game ought to make him a good candidate for account removal.
And btw, I can think of at least 1 specific and 2 more cases which I'd have to spend some time looking up of people getting punished on the MUD for things they posted/said here... so it's not unprecedented.
All that said, if Vermond still disagrees with my conclusion, he's the mod, not me, and I'm ok with his decision :P

I don't think there's an issue though. The old characters have not been breaking any rules as far as I know and due to the reasons I listed attempting to solve the 'issue' would create an even bigger issue itself.
No mechanism...? It would take only a few minutes to compare logpage accounts to existing characters, and maybe an hour to generate a full list of discrepancies. That shouldn't be a concern when considering this issue.

There's always the question of what to do with people who no longer have characters. Removing them all is not feasible as 1) we have a huuuge back log 2) there's no mechanism to check them all 3) we would lose a lot of old farts who add much to the comments here.
If we were to discriminate on who to remove - Then on what basis? Who decides that?
Using their notorious deeds in the game to block them here sets a bad precedent - That people can be punished on log page for breaking rules on mud. That's no good because 1) They're already punished for it once by Valinor 2) It gives way to the assumption of the opposite - Punishing people on mud for things they say here.
Another basis would be blocking them depending on the amount of annoyance they cause. This is again a bad method because it includes a lot of subjective reasoning. Just how annoying do you have to be to get blocked? Who decides that? If I were to make such decisions I would be blamed for using it as an excuse to block people for personal reasons, and there would be no way to figure out if it was indeed that way.
I mean, you say that Hazin should be blocked because did terrible things on mud and is just an annoyance here. Another person might as well say that for Aryl or Miroth. Is there any objective, measurable way of deciding on which? Not as far as I know. Even if there was such a method, you lot would probably nevertheless lynch the person pushing the button.. So no thanks.
It is just completely against the principle of our new reform - That there be no rules that are abusable, subjective or unnecessary.

Remaining anonymous enough that the current admin won't commit nuclear holocaust against you and your friends, however, is. Fun that Aryl is giving someone advise on how to live a healthy life, but at the same time there is no doubt that Aryl is living in some fantasy life where he think he is this worls answer to a God. You think that just because you managed to kill people or be nuked alot of times that you are better then everyone else here, that everyone should worship you. Get over yourself, as you put it, this is a game.
I'm just going to respond once, because I've actually developed some concern. Please do not misconstrue concern with some sort of victory Aeldor, you are not making me reply out of spite or self-defense.
Anything you've ever deflected onto me in your descriptions that were startlingly close to diagnosing psychopathy, is evidently shown to draw its root from within. You are a chronic liar, and it appears that you are so delusional, that you believe your own lies. You harbour such genuine malice and hatred over an online pass-time, that your own ability to deal with anger and human interactions IRL must be questioned. I strongly suggest you look into this aspect of your personality, it is quite disconcerting.
