Nah, just 1 char per IP would hinder great possibilities of RP and gameplay for people who just use their chars to play the game fair. Having people who abuse it to walk beyond the line of law isn't a reason to take it away from everyone.
nild, i can understand putting one char back in a guild if the original no longer exists and you create another. that shows loyalty to the guild. however, having 3 or 4 chars all existing and active and switchin them in and out just shows your inability to keep your chars separate.
I agree with Nildnab ... just 1 char per IP and you will show really who you are.
Whats wrong with switching chars in and out of a guild? That can be consider loyalty but because you dislike someone you just point of the negativity. I can name nearly half the mud whos switched chars starting back to early as 98 but does it make it right.. depends on your perspective. I say nuke the whole mud and limit 1 char per ip, those who play in a labs/dorms, show some real proof or you're fucked.
