I have much better logs than this one, some unposted and some posted.
Of course they would be compliments. Logs like this one are excellent and most playerkillers don't get to make one in their mud lifetime. So that's the normal state of events. I have tons of such logs, and all of them are downrated/abused through comments.
What's not normal is 4 people rating it a 1, and people saying what they said, don't make me go back and quote Trempk and Pounder who should be grateful that I provide them with a forum to read/discuss things related to a MUD long-gone.

80% of the comments before you said you were going to remove it were either asking about something which was somewhat enigmatic (and I have to assume you did this on purpose to get people to ask the question) or compliments or both. Shabba didn't even say the log was bad... he just said randomly reposting logs is bad. In the entire comments section, only three comments that were about the log were anything but compliments or questions.

Though when posted logs I never thought I was doing people a huge favor for which they should eternally be grateful. I always posted logs in an attempt to gain momentary recognition from a community of socially depraved men I'd never get to meet. Thankfully.

I see Bequerel performing two actions in the entire log: 'cast fireball' at the very beginning, and 'say ow' at the very end. He did move once, but that could have been wimpy. He had about a dozen rounds to walk the--what, three rooms to West Arda? I don't get it.
