You've somehow found yourself in a guard post that is located in the
interior of the Morgul gate. The room is rather dark and cramped, so you
cannot see much of what is around you. However, you can make out some
traces of furniture, of sorts; there are some bunks squeezed into the
corners, along with some shelves and weapon racks. Oddly enough there
are two exits to this room - one to the east and one to the west. You
must have not seen them when you were outside.
The only obvious exits are west and east.
