Don't pk with hardbanned characters when you cant handle the heat. Posting for Mello.
Talmar, for the truth sake, I will explain, Sevrin was found out to be whoever he is the same moment the ainur forced him to either suicide or be nuked. Until then, he was just a player that was helping our guild. Do I have to dig up birth certificate history of all of our applicants?
Now go crawl back to your hole before you make me angry.
Dawson was nuked at 10:25 03/20/09
Dawson Hangtight the uruk-hai Blood Warrior
Departed from Arda Gender: male
Age: 26d 50m
Dawson is a member of the Gor Bûrzgoth.
Nuke Reason: Doing our best to 'mute' the proxy-cheaters. Ahahaha.
'Dawson is a member of the Gor Bûrzgoth.'
Sevrin was played by a hardbanned typist. He helped out the Beornings, and hung around alot in their hall. He suicided because everyone was figuring out who he was.
He said you _worked with one_, not that you are one. So I want to know who you work(ed) with that is hardbanned.
I don't know who Talmar is, but all my characters are permitted to play.
Which one?
I love how Daywalker talks about killing people for helping hardbanned characters, but he worked with one himself.
If you guys think this stuff, then you should just law report them. I doubt the admin comb these comments sections for potential cheats. :P
Coeur, the whole mud knows about you sharing this character. It is a matter of time before the right people find out about it.
Out of curiosity Shabba, who are you talking about? (The person who got caught)
Well it's a shame other hardbanned players got past level 16 before anyone knew anything then.
Have to agree with Lobo. Making absolutely sure that punishments are credible and enforceable must take precedence over finding new schmucks to punish.
WTF is the gold economy? There's a fucking endless amount of gold, yet sailor's cutlasses still cost you a net of 30 gold.
hardbanned individuals are always doing some pretty seriously bad stuff, they are avoiding a hardban.
No, it's a hardbanned botter that wasn't botting anymore that they locate right away. But not the other kids.
Killing people actually counterbalances the influx of gold from the botters.
So they balance each other out :)
It's easier to catch botters than people avoiding a hardban, and the effect is different: People evading the hardban are still playing in the interim. Botters are inflating the gold economy while they play. The reality is that per unit time they're around, botters do more damage unless the hardbanned individual is doing some pretty seriously bad stuff - and doing high profile bad stuff attracts the attention of the admin very quickly.
hahaha, yeah, used it a couple of times when i was younger and unexperienced.
You got a point there shabba.
Apparently the admin only care about making sure botters don't play. It's sure nice having spreekillers and possibly other hardbanned players running around though.
Have any of that group been identified as hardbanned players (and nuked) yet? (I'm not suggesting they're not who you say they are, but I've been away for a few days and am not up to date on that stuff)
If they had been heads-up and went to the portal at Pelargir...you would of been fucked :P Gj nonetheless.
Nice break!!
