An example of a quest coded properly (IMHO), the Captains Cutlass. Evil weapon from Numenor (or is it Umbar?) guarded by several Gondorian Soldiers. Evil weapon guarded by moral NPCs, therefore able for immoral players to get weapon.

btw, how many people stop for a second in Bree only to hear some newbie say something like, 'I am trying to get to level 15 as quick as possible so I can apply to be a coder'...could that be the problem with the game? To many coders that NEVER actually played the game...

Many places in the game should be changed - the same is with the elven council.The DAKS however is the most tsriking example - an immoral guy gets it and then feels noble *boggle*.
The orcish brew is a nice example of things getting improved but the old quests need to be changed too.

They got 5 different types of Quality Control, yet none of them is Playability QC. Sometimes I wonder if they even think before they code...
I was supposed to be waiting at Edoras to help him. I guess I move too slow. That's why he used maiden, as a last resort. And, Wasach, don't say shit until you know what you are talking about. Gilead hasn't been a Corsair in about 3 to 4 months. Since you RP with them a lot, you would think that a fucking 9 year old would realize his absence from the guild.
hehe, the DAKS is a prime example of a weapon that is supposed to be used by servants of 'good' but is only able to be gotten by servants of sauron. Or as Wyngel put it, 'Can you see me killing someone and regretting it?'
*lol* and the Ainur have refused to recode the quest to reflect the nature of the sword and who it is gotten from.

There are like 6 or 7 hunt breaks near edoras. But people only use the two worst.
Eh? Who gets attacked at MT and runs to the crappiest place in the world to break hunt? OH well.
