Ah ok, you like everyone else thought I meant that in present tense. 'but Pounder will do what he wants anyway.' meant I was forging for a while. I had assumed you picked up my tense reference and therefore was confused. And secondly I completely agree with you on your comment with regard to the current version in game. Anyways, is the mud down, why aren't there a rediculous load of logs today?

I'd rather not get into the mechanics and stuff, Pounder... that stuff leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Suffice it to say that there are at least two things wrong with Exhalev's explanation. Take it from a professional. ;)

Exactly Dudesaeho, anyone can email their ainur friends and say, give me the code for x. But then again, why play this game then? Granted, a hint is a very different thing than code. This is why I liked when ainur made gossips about a new area (or change) even if it was a really obscure one. They really need to do away with some of the 'stats' and 'demystification' that seems to be more prevelant with all these systems that the ainur set up to quell players who were more interested in whining than playing. They should also do away with player testers except on major game breaking changes. Granted it helps them keep their time a little better, I remember things being broke and enjoyed helping ainur fix them.

shrug maybe he means me.. Pounder that wasn't directed in any way at you.. I was too vague. I disagree with someone having a list of stats on hand which were not obtained through experiment or experience. I applaud the kind of work it takes to figure out the MUD world using the sometimes crappily coded commands (aimed at: compare)

And, fyi, all my information is from countless hours of use, even when offered stats or code from the game, I always immediately refused and screamed at friends/people offering it to me. Fuck numbers, I play for fun, played. I played for the community and people who were around. There is no such thing really anymore.

Obviously you guys didn't use forges before the monster nerf they put on them. I can't help if you guys weren't around when MT was first opened or didn't know anything about it at the time. Back when LBC was bugged so it was an OCP sized cloak (because it didn't have a put into/get from fail), the forges did not have a damage limit or at least aim limit. When wielded by the forger and having more than 20 forge cycles... you had the best weapon in the game in terms of single hits if not period. I remember going to warg camp for DWH, getting probably 27 out of 31 hits as massacre on all the wargs and the other four or so hits were massives and 2 crits. AESS when it was put into the game before its massive nerf was also significantly better than fang at the time. It would have easily matched up with 2 handed weapons these days.

Boooo for knowing all the numbers.

This game was a lot more fun before it became all about numbers mortals should have no business knowing.

You and I both know that's not exactly true, but Pounder will do what he wants anyway. Everyone has a preference.

Ith, I would love to have given it another go, but the mud has just lost too many intelligent, unusual characters and ainur from before to even be worth another try. If I had more spare time (the only time I have really to comment here is at my job) I would but between a regular job doing IT Infrastructure projects for a company, running my own company and finishing out this ladder for D2, I have much better things to do. And surprisingly Narshock, if you were around WAY back, you would actually know the bone sword was more preferred by me. I think I had one for 20-30 continuous boots if not more (this was back when AESS was WAY better). Man, that reminds me how fucking good forged swords were if you reforged like 30 times. 80% massacre, never missed. :)

Oh and Exhalev has no right whatsoever to talk about switching their story multiple times... except his goes:

    I am helping the mud,

    I only cheated once,

Using bugs is a skill and I am one of the best at doing it,

Its not my fault ainur hate me,

    I am helping the mud,

    I am the best,

    I am leaving,

    I am the best,

I am leaving now for real,

    I am the best

    lol.

Obviously Ithilcalad found out exactly what others found out, if Exhalev's 'group' is involved and a 'friend' of yours is with them, they aren't your friend anymore.:P

Rule #1 Never trust an Uruk

Rule #2 There are no such things as 'friends' in guild war on opposing ends.

Rule #3 If you do have a friend in an opposing guild and you are at war, see rules 1 and 2.

Ithilcalad before his first death of the war: I'm awesome at breaking, I do it by hand, I can take PKS.

Ithilcalad after his first death of the war: Don't kill me, I'm in Iraq, I come here to escape, I don't want this game ruined.

We stop attacking him. We find out he's lying.

Ithilcalad innbreaks: Don't attack me, I hate Megs, I'm leaving them!

Ithilcalad appears to have left Megs. We don't attack him. We find out he never left.

Ithilcalad after his second death of the war: Fuck you lying to me!

Ithilcalad loses the GM vote for Megs and suicides, tells me he is

going to join Galadhrim. Ithilcalad rejoins Megs.

    Ithilcalad dies a third time.

So Ithilcalad... Lie to protect yourself, very honorable. Join an enemy's party during a guildwar? Naive at best. You were clearly suspicious, and failed to leave his party in time. (You had a 2 letter alias to do so). All is fair in love, and war. Don't whine, this death is your fault. And I mean fuck, it was a good date for you, Narshock thrusted as soon as you got to the location. You didn't even have to buy him dinner.

Exhalev called me a Hyprocrit, because I've always at back and claimed I disliked PvP, which I do... And I never drew a single sword against any GB prior to this (even though I should have) I'm just more inactive and float around to chat with friends these days... So I arrested Exhalev and he freas out about it... if It wasn't for this particular post, I would still be idling in my halls and doing nothing, you all draw me into PvP, so naturally I am going to just start playing I'm no hyprocrit.
