I did think it was weird that they never got full.
GB just used overpowered alchemy healing, like 70...100 hp instant healing with minimum fillness. Note that those were nerfed already and none of GB found it themselves.
Anyone who gets to <70 hp against two Linhir guards with two maxed chars in decent gear needs to suicide their char, Archangel :p
