I would have to agree with Wasach there.

Korzan, you cannot by default assume common sense in the T2T design. I thought you had played this mud long enough to learn that...

However, this alliance system was created by Aule, so since that's the case, I think its coded correct.

That could be correct Korzan but that's assuming the Ainur coded it right...hmm

On the other hand, you could kill a who party in there without paying a single battered coin in fines:P

I don't like Mordor... I'm being attacked by level 11's killing sleeping orcs at OSS. Then I contract them and they start whining to the dangerous people who tells me to remove it, wich I have to so I wont get killed...

I think Mordor is scary, with that big Black Gate, and all those nasty people in there and all. *shudders*

Wasach, Tarn, maybe you're both morons.

Spartan did not get any kind of 'guild alliance' message in Mordor. If you'll notice his 'trigger' was to TALK on a guildcomm. However, this character is not in a guild, so he gets the message 'You are not a member of a guild'

It has nothing whatsoever to do with guild alliances, nor anything else.

Furthermore, if a guild is hostile with another guild, it counts CRIMES against the other guild.

Mordor is lawless, there ARE no CRIMES in Mordor.

Common sense would dictate that it, also, has no bearing on guild_alliances.

    Korzan, the thinker.

Tarn since you obviously have a low intelligence and are incapable of nothing but insults, just go away. Contribute something worthwhile or shut your mouth. A death in mordor is the same as out of it except that you cant report it. What I was referring to was the limits that a GM can set on each person for attacking a member of an enemy Guild.

For example, SoU GM sets Valacirca to 'hostile' so the SoU declare war on VC throught the Guild Alliance System. Now Adunazon thinks hmm, we are getting kind of low of funds (this is just an example mind you and not a flame/slam/insult) from a previous war with Amruin that went on for awhile. So Adunazon sets a limit of 5 attacks per SoU member, or each SoU member is limited to attacking 5 VC members while being covered by the Guild vault.

Now, Tarn here he is a tough guy and uses up 4 of his attacks in Lothlorien and Mirkwood. Then one day sees Woden in Mordor and attacks him. Now Spartan got a Guild Alliance message saying he isn't in a Guild when he was attacking in Mordor. I am wondering if Tarns hypothetical attack would count as his fifth Guild vault-backed attack or not.

Yeah Wasach. Your a moron. A death is a death if its in mordor or out of it. If someone killed me in mordor, it would be no different then if they did it out of mordor.

hmm, that little system notice about your not being in a Guild brings up an interesting thought...

If two Guilds are at hostile or war and their members battle in Mordor, does that count against the limits set by the GM's? Mordor is lawless and no crimes can be reported so it shouldn't count towards any Guild Alliance settings...

    hmm
