Despite the dimness of the passage, through the cracks near the
edges of the rotating wall you can get a glimpse of the library. All
seems quiet, so you judge there is no one present there at the moment.

You carelessly walk towards the lever through the room. While
you do so, several darts shoot out of the wall and hit you one by
one! Ouch! ... Ouch! ... Ouch!
Before you can control yourself, you scream in pain!
You hear someone yell nearby: Hey! Did you hear that? Someone is in the
hidden cellar!
You pull the lever, and you hear a clicking sound from the north door.

It appears you have stumbled into a hidden room. It is completely
bare save for eight torches fixed to the walls; two on each wall. There
is a passage that inclines slightly upwards and leads south and a door
leading north. You notice there is a strange lever on the eastern wall
and that the floor appears to be composed of very curious-looking square
tiles.
You are currently at the east wall of the room, right at the lever.
The north door is closed.
