    This is an expansive and lavish hall gilded with earthen tones of
green and brown.  The stone walls have been polished to a brilliant
sheen which cascades the surrounding candlelight throughout the room as
well as the enormous tapestry hanging in the center.  On the west side
of the north wall is a mammoth fireplace beneath a large stone mantle.
The warm glow of the fire offers a comforting and inviting presence of
peace.  Atop the mantle is a stone carving of a majestic eagle soaring
weightlessly in the clouds.  Surrounding the entire room near the top
of the raised ceiling are windows expertly crafted from the stone
walls.  These windows allow light to enter the tower as well as let
in the freshness of the Dunland air.  The array of candelabra and the
various cozy rugs on the floor make this room very inviting.
A stack of papers is piled on a table in the center of the room.
A staircase is leading up to the second floor and down to the
basement.
