In the courtyard you count at least three army camps--but the dominating feature within is the incredibly tall and massive Tower of Barad-dur. It dwarfs all else, including seemingly even the mountains to its east. Surveying the courtyard, you notice constant movement of troops though you can't tell much about them from this distance. Turning to closer quarters, you note that you can walk along the top of the wall as far as it runs, through ports cut through the regularly spaced towers. A tower in the outer wall is to the north.
