'It is MORDOR! LAWLESS!' - Thanks for pointing that out. I had obviously missed the fact that PvP off Shahriar was killing PvP off Ormyr in Mordor. I thought you were abusing a bug to kill a PvP off outside of Mordor.

Now, who cares if it is lawless or not? Why would the courthouses decide who you attack or don't attack? I don't attack Amruin in Mordor just because it is possible. If anything, Shahriar should've assisted Ormyr in killing Faneti.

I am glad Faneti was finally booted out of CoU at least. That shit was ridicilious... as if VC would ever admit someone who kills KoDAs... :)

CoU has a guild policy to not attack sFR/ER's in Mordor/mm unless the person is hitlisted. Who knows, maybe Ormyr was hitlisted though?

Isn't it quite normal for evil guilds to have such a policy in place?

The event in question is his partying with his ally's enemy, not the kill itself.

'So, Shahriar being a member of some guild, is not allowed to party with his friend, who has problems with some other ally guild? Because?'

It depends on whether or not the two guilds allied each other just so they wouldn't feel lonely anymore. If the alliance was taken seriously then no, he shouldn't party with his ally's enemies. If you want to bring friendship into it, then the guild member should leave his guild first, or simply party on a different character. To do otherwise would be betraying his guild.

I'll put it this way. If an ER was going around PKing or questing with a GB member, you would consider that person an enemy as well, because GB was your enemy and the person was helping them. For Shahriar to party with you - an enemy of his guild's ally - then that makes him an enemy of his guild's ally as well.

I may be misunderstood, certainly, but it has always been my opinion that the definition of 'ally' is someone who shares a common cause with someone against another person. You know, 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' and so on. Just tossing that out there. You are the person who is the largest proponent of the idea that 'one person's actions reflect on their entire guild.' At least, that's the logic that you've used with TH, GB, SoU, VC, etc. So when someone mentions Shahriar partying with the enemy of his guild's ally...yeah.

Secondly, yes. If I'm a Servant, I pretty much do expect other Servants and ERs to to respect the fact that I serve. That's the whole point of Serving, right? That the Servants and ERs be on the same side? You know, Sauron's?

I mean, there's no reason to make excuses for yourself. Just say that you have no RP and no character separation, and that you'll do whatever you want and leave it at that. Don't defend yourself. If you just straight-up say 'I wanted to kill him because he was in Mordor and I wanted to pk', it'll look a lot better than half-ass excuses. Just sayin'.

Woo alkath thank you! I was waiting for someone to bring up the ally bullshit question!

So, Shahriar being a member of some guild, is not allowed to party with his friend, who has problems with some other ally guild? Because?

Also who the fuck gives a shit if he is free race, evil race, ainur, morwen or whatever other creature you can think of? It is MORDOR! LAWLESS! Go in and expect danger? Unless you are ER... if you are a servant expect other servants to go in with you, give you flowers? Oh wait, you said RP...

I dunno if it's just me, but I find it funny that Shahriar (CoU) parties with someone who is known to pk SoU, to pk a servant of the Dark Lord that has (as far as I know) not done anything close to rioting. Faneti, on the other hand, is what would be labeled a riot...

RP has been lost for a long time, but I still get amazed at what levels people stoop too :)
