Wow, Tarn. Bringing my alts into this is really cool, but for the record, Azura died 3 times that night. Raqtor didn't do anything special, Azura was just feeling crazy. If you'd like to be 'Mr. Cool,' you can try me yourself. Otherwise, you can just shut the hell up, and Raqtor can keep killing random KoDA while they get ESSes and stuff. Okie dokie?
And Talan, assassins can be clever. *shrug* I mean, I don't really approve of your silly 5-people-miss-a-backstab-and-then-I-headbutt-Ketan tactic, but at least THAT was unpredictable. I could never have seen it coming, and that's what being good is about. Timing means jack shit when your target is smart enough not to be weak out in the open. Try tracking Twocute for a few months and you'll understand what I mean. Timing is NOTHING against her, because she went for months where she only ever left her guild faded. You'd have to come up with a clever way to kill her while she's faded to get her. And that, in my opinion, is what being a good assassin is. Not picking off easy targets when they're weak. Woo hoo.

Everyone goes in predictable patterns, and besides just getting randomly lucky, its the only way to kill a skilled player.

That great assassin stuff is bullshit. :P The only 'prey' that goes in a predictable pattern, or allows you to find them in a weak position is the kind of prey that a _really_ skilled assassin shouldn't be going after in the first place. Case in point, and I mean no offense to Raqtor...but I'm rarely impressed with his kills, because all the targets are nobodies that make dumb mistakes. :)

Timing your kills is a skill too, great assassins have more of it than shitty ones.
I always believed that you cannot be a great assassin...It is always a matter of timing. No style in typing trigger maided todo touch maiden, you just need to know where the target is going. If you call that skill, then we have a lot of skilled assassins. And anyways, you cant ask an assassin to take on another assassin, because both require good timing! :) Dodging gangbangs, i think, require skills however.
